Thanks so much for stopping by Love & Sass Designs! I’m Jo Phillips—the owner, designer, creative brain, and one-woman show behind it all. I’m a Southern California girly who’s obsessed with fun, playful, and personality-packed designs that help you turn everyday moments into unforgettable memories. Whether it’s invitations for your next big celebration, party décor, keepsake gifts, or cozy touches for your home, I love being part of your story in the most creative way possible.

My style is a little bit of everything—think whimsical hand-drawn illustrations, dreamy watercolor art, bold vibrant prints, soft pastels, and all the sass in between. I love mixing it up and keeping things fresh, colorful, and full of personality.

You’ll mostly find my designs on Zazzle, which is an absolute treasure chest of customizable products. Seriously—Zazzle lets you take any of my designs and apply them to thousands (yes, thousands!) of different items. Invitations? Of course. But also beer pong tables, wallpaper, throw pillows, T-shirts, cookies, candies, mugs, curtains—you name it, you can probably put a design on it.

You’ll find designs for all kinds of special occasions—weddings, baby showers, bridal showers, birthdays for kids and adults, holidays, and other life milestones. I also create pieces for small business essentials like business cards, marketing materials, signage, and promotional items, plus lots more for celebrating everyday magic.

ABOUT ME
If you’d like to know a little more about me. Like I mentioned, I am born and raised at the beach in Southern California.  I’ve had quite the eclectic life in my 40 years (yes, I just hit the big 4-0! – but really I’m 28 haha).  I’ve done lifeguards, horse back riding, race cars, was a competitive tennis player, paddle boarder (although it’s mostly for relaxing with friends now), snowboarder and so much more.  In my professional history, I was in marketing and public relations for many years working in professional sports and entertainment, and then transitioned into the teaching industry working for educational publishers where I got to create and work with all of the cute products teachers can decorate their classrooms with.  My job was actually to create ‘model classrooms’, aka a dream classroom for product photos.  I then also dabbled in crystals and natural bath and beauty products for a while.

I actually started on Zazzle back in 2017, but just played around with it while watching TV. As is typical with life, I got sidetracked with my jobs, remodeling my home (fully DIY style), and my other business at the time, and let Zazzle slip away.  I returned to Zazzle in late 2023 and got serious with it and started adding the designs you see now in Love & Sass Designs Shop!  I’m so thankful to be doing this, and even get to work with my mom who helps me out behind the scenes. Thanks Mom!
